Three South Angus Winners at Scottish Thistle Awards

The motion

That the Parliament notes that the 2022-23 Scottish Thistle Awards, Scotland’s premier awards for the tourism and events sector, have seen three South Angus successes in the Central, Fife and Tayside region; congratulates The WeeCOOK Kitchen on being named Best Eatery Experience, Newton Farm Holidays on winning Best B&B/Guest House Experience and Aproxima Arts on the Outstanding Cultural Event/Festival title won by their Over Lunan performance event; recognises that both Newton Farm and Over Lunan received praise for the promotion of local natural and cultural heritage, and that this is the latest in a string of successes for WeeCOOK; considers this to be evidence of the strength of the sector in South Angus, and wishes the winners continued success going forward.
