Congratulating Rose Duncan on Receiving a Community Champion Award from Fife Police Division

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Rose Duncan from Glenrothes, Fife, on receiving a Community Champion Award from Fife Police Division to recognise her selfless community work; notes that Rose manages Brighter Futures Health Hub Charity, and is widely known in the Glenrothes local area for her work with the communities most vulnerable; understands that her instrumental work during the COVID-19 pandemic included companionship, providing access to internet and access to services for the elderly along with a place to come for a hot meal for those struggling with the cost of living; notes that Rose is also heavily involved in detached youth work supporting Police Scotland, food banks and many other charitable organisations; recognises the time, commitment, and contribution to making a difference that Rose has made to other people’s lives, and extends its very best wishes to Rose for the future.
