Beauty Kitchen Net Zero Business of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jo Chidley, founder of Beauty Kitchen, based in Wishaw, on being awarded Net Zero Business of the Year at the glittering Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards 2022 at the Grand Centre Station, Glasgow; understands that Jo, a chemist, botanist and sustainability expert, founded Beauty Kitchen in 2014, and became the first high street sustainable business in the UK; acknowledges that Beauty Kitchen is a circular economy business, and achieved the highest scoring B Corp across the globe; notes that Scottish Enterprise sponsored the Net Zero category; welcomes the breadth of leadership by women across all sectors of industry and business, and wishes Jo and Beauty Kitchen all the best for the future.
