Motherwell FC Installs Defibrillator for Local Community Use

The motion

That the Parliament thanks the Well Society and the Kieran McDade Foundation for their work to fund and install a defibrillator at Motherwell FC’s Fir Park Stadium for use by and benefit to the local community; understands that local groups have been invited to the stadium to raise awareness that the equipment is available and ready for any emergencies; notes that the Kieran McDade Foundation was formed after Kiernan suffered a cardiac arrest during a football training session when he was 13 years old; further notes that the foundation pledged to source and donate defibrillators to as many local football and sports clubs as possible, and thanks all involved for providing lifesaving equipment to the local community.
