The motion

That the Parliament commends Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association and Mast Architects for collaborating on a building project that saw 96 new properties built across four sites in Greenock and Port Glasgow, which has gone on to be named Best Affordable Housing Development, at the Inside Housing Development Awards; understands that the homes in the Dubbs Road section of the development, in Port Glasgow, were designed in response to the need for suitable housing for the ageing population of Port Glasgow; believes that all of the homes in the project include high levels of insulation, large double-glazed windows, and photovoltaic panels to help reduce energy bills; welcomes this investment in Inverclyde’s housing stock, and thanks Sanctuary Scotland and Mast Architects for delivering an award-winning development in the area.
