Congratulating Janice Houston on Winning the Platinum Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Janice Houston on winning the Platinum award at the annual Spotlight awards, which recognise those who stand out above all others for their outstanding contribution to NHS 24 and best exemplify the organisation’s values, actively demonstrating that they are at the heart of everything; understands that Ms Houston was nominated due to her making a significant and positive difference to patient care, service improvement and the health and wellbeing of her colleagues; notes that Ms Houston is due to retire in 2023; believes that her irrepressible positivity and "can do" attitude will be a huge loss for NHS 24 as she has worked there since the beginning, 20 years ago, and commends Ms Houston on this outstanding achievement.
