Instant Neighbour’s Annual Christmas Giving Tree Appeal

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Instant Neighbour’s Christmas Giving Tree appeal; understands that the appeal involves giving new gifts to young people across the north east who otherwise would not receive a present; recognises that members of the public are invited to take a card from a tree placed around Aberdeen that provides the first name and age of a child in need; understands that Instant Neighbour has been running this appeal for 32 years, and in 2021 provided 13,500 gifts; notes that the delivery deadline is 1 December, and hopes that the 2022 appeal is another great success.
