Opening of the Alzheimer Scotland Glasgow Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Alzheimer Scotland on the opening of the Glasgow Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre on 11 November 2022; acknowledges that this centre will help Alzheimer Scotland in its mission to ensure that nobody faces dementia alone, by providing crucial care and support for people with dementia, as well as their families, relatives and friends, throughout any stage of the illness; understands that Alzheimer Scotland is making a significant contribution to global dementia research through its work and research, which is critical to making a difference for people living with dementia now, and in the future; thanks Alzheimer Scotland for its continued advocacy and work in supporting people in Scotland living with dementia, and wishes it the best of luck with the opening and running of the Glasgow Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre.
