Burntisland Co-op Giving Tree Set Up to Help Vulnerable Families this Christmas

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Burntisland Co-op after setting up its annual Christmas Giving Tree in an effort to support vulnerable families in the town during the upcoming festive period; understands that the store organises the yearly initiative to ease the financial burden of many low-income families as well as those affected by poverty; notes that Burntisland residents are being encouraged to donate gifts to the Giving Tree, which is located in the Co-op on Burntisland High Street; further notes that the initiative is organised by Carole-Anne Paterson, who works in the store, and that the project gives children who are less fortunate presents to open on Christmas Day; commends the Co-op and its staff for their service to the community, and wishes them all the best for the future.
