Josh Galloway from Kirkcaldy’s Kingdom Boxing Club Wins Gold at Boxing Scotland Development Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Josh Galloway from Kirkcaldy’s Kingdom Boxing Club who won gold in the cruiserweight class at the Boxing Scotland Development Championships; understands that Josh beat Shaun Torrie of Cathedral Boxing Club, Brechin, in the final to win the gold medal; further understands that the championship was held over the first two weekends in November 2022, at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell, boasting what it sees as an incredible 735 entries from 110 different clubs across the length and breadth of Scotland; believes that the event was the largest boxing championships in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe; commends Josh for his dedication to the sport of boxing, and wishes him all the best for the future.
