Kirkcaldy YMCA Celebrates Gallatown Community Hub’s First Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy YMCA after it celebrated the first anniversary of its new purpose-built community hub in Gallatown, Kirkcaldy; notes that the YM provides a safe space with learning opportunities for people who live in the Gallatown area, which, it understands, is considered one of the most deprived in Scotland; understands that it provides a community café and gives local residents in the area a warm space as some may be affected by fuel poverty; commends YMCA Kirkcaldy for its ongoing hard work to help the community, and wishes it all the best for the future.
