Jacob Galloway from Kirkcaldy’s Linktown Boxing Club Wins Gold at Boxing Scotland Development Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jacob Galloway from Kirkcaldy’s Linktown Boxing Club after winning gold in the novice class at the Boxing Scotland Development Championships; understands that Jacob won all three of his fights in the novice class to win gold; further understands that the championship was held over the first two weekends in November 2022, at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell, boasting what it sees as an incredible 735 entries from 110 different clubs across the length and breadth of Scotland; believes that the event was the largest boxing championships in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe; commends Jacob for his dedication to the sport of boxing, and wishes him all the best for the future.
