South Western District Gang Show

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates South Western District Gang Show in Glasgow on its up-and-coming Gang Show, which takes place at Hutchison Grammar; understands that the variety show will feature members of the Scouting Movement from across South Western District of Clyde Region; notes that over 50 beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers and leaders will be singing, dancing, and having fun with comedy sketches over four performances on 19-20 November 2022, at 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm; understands that the South Western District Gang Show is delighted to be part of this worldwide family; notes that, following assessment during the 2018 performances, the pack received recognition of the high standard it had achieved by being awarded official Gang Show status, which, it understands, allows cast members to wear the official Gang Show Red Scarf and to incorporate the Gang Show logo, which is recognised around the world, and acknowledges that the aim of the Gang Show is to empower young people, through performance, to make a positive contribution to society.
