Over 100 Youngsters to Join Cast of "World's Biggest Panto" in Glasgow

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the 100 talented youngsters who have been chosen to perform in the world’s biggest panto in Glasgow in December 2022; understands that students from Lanarkshire’s Jazzart College of Performing Arts will join the cast of Elf, based on the hit Hollywood movie, at the OVO Hydro on 10-11 December as part of the show's UK wide arena tour; understands that the production will see the Christmas film transformed into a live show with a moving stage and circus performers; notes that the young performers from the Lanarkshire college will join the choir to sing festive favourites; understands that they are overjoyed to be part of the national tour of Elf; considers that this is a fantastic opportunity for the students to perform in an international arena production, and wishes them the best of luck.
