Huntly Marie Curie Fundraising Group Reaches Milestone

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the Huntly Marie Curie Fundraising Group for reaching its fundraising milestone of £150,000; notes that the Marie Curie head of operations for north and west Scotland commended the group for this milestone; understands that Marie Curie provides invaluable palliative care to people, including around 2,390 people who pass each year in Aberdeenshire; further understands that its fundraising will go to support this need and was recognised and celebrated by the community; thanks the group for its continued hard work and support, and wishes Marie Curie all the best for the future.
