North Lanarkshire Project SEARCH
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates North Lanarkshire Project SEARCH on its success at the DFN Project SEARCH Annual Conference; understands that the event recognises organisations that play an important role in increasing the number of young adults with a learning disability or autism spectrum condition in full-time employment by providing real work experience combined with training in employability and independent living skills; notes that North Lanarkshire has two projects, University Hospitals Monklands and University Hospitals Wishaw, which work in partnership with supported enterprise, NHS Lanarkshire, New College Lanarkshire and Serco; welcomes the news that the Wishaw Project Search was commended for achieving an 80% employment figure for 2020/21 graduates, and wishes all those involved all the best for the future.
