Stow Pump Track

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Stow Pump Track Group on securing a grant of £50,000 from the sportscotland Cycling Facilities Fund; understands that the funding will be used to develop a pump track in Stow for people of all ages to use, free of charge; welcomes the improved opportunities that this project will provide for local people to take part in cycling in a safe, purpose-built environment; notes that this is one of six projects to receive investment from the £8 million Cycling Facilities Fund, and hopes that this funding and projects like the Stow Pump Track will inspire more and more people to take up cycling.
