Bothwell Parish Church’s Winter Warmer Project

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the Winter Warmer Project, which, it understands, is a comprehensive offer of shelter, meals, a community larder, and a games room in the Bothwell Parish Church of Scotland; understands that all members of the community are welcome to drop in; commends what it sees as an important community asset being offered by the Rev Iain Majcher’s ministry in conjunction with the Bothwell Futures charity; believes that the cost of living crisis is making life harder for many people, and appreciates the role of volunteers and community organisations in providing support to those in need of extra support.
