Zetland Park Wins Best Celebration Event and the Best Climate Change Adaptation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Friends of Zetland Park on winning both the Best Celebration Event and the Best Climate Change Adaptation at the UK Best of the Best awards; notes that environmental charity, KSB presents Green Flag Awards to the best managed parks and green spaces across Scotland; further notes that all winners of the international award must demonstrate excellent management and environmental standards annually; understands that the park is an important greenspace for the local community and is well loved by both visitors and the park’s volunteers, who, it believes, are doing an excellent job in attempting to mitigate the effects of climate change.
