Craigdu Primary in Milngavie Achieves ‘We Make Music’ Digital Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Craigdu Primary School in Milngavie for achieving the We Make Music Digital Award; notes that Craigdu Primary are amongst the first in Scotland to receive the brand new music award and be named We Make Music Schools, with only 13 Scottish schools having been awarded it; understands that pupils took part in a pilot digital music making project over the last academic year, which involved a collaboration between well-established We Make Music organisation and Sonappa, which, it understands, is a new teaching resource that empowers non-musician teachers to deliver music lessons in class, and applauds the pupils and staff at Craigdu Primary for this exciting achievement.
