Danestone Primary School Receives Anti-bullying Reward
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all pupils and staff at Danestone Primary School in Aberdeen Donside, which has recently become one of the first schools in Scotland to be presented with a new anti-bullying certificate during Anti-Bullying Week, which took place from 14 to 18 November 2022, acknowledging its commitment to supporting a safe and flourishing environment for pupils; understands that Danestone Primary School successfully secured a respectme reward from respectme, Scotland’s anti-bullying service, after successfully completing a validated self-assessment toolkit; further understands that the new respectme reward is a national programme for both schools and youth services across Scotland and is designed to help schools and organisations review their existing anti-bullying policy and practice, acknowledge success and help plan for future improvements; commends the efforts of all pupils and staff at Danestone Primary School for achieving this reward, and wishes them all the best for the future.
