Scottish Libraries Supporting Communities Through Cost of Living Crisis

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish libraries for their continued efforts to tackle the cost of living crisis by providing additional support to their communities as well as to their normal services, which includes providing warm and welcoming spaces, free access to PCs and the internet, activity provision programmes, and free or low-cost activities and events for all ages; recognises the benefits that it believes this support will bring to communities all over Scotland, and celebrates the success of Book Week Scotland 2022.
