Congratulating Sagar Massey
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates chef Sagar Massey on competing in MasterChef: The Professionals; recognises that the senior sous chef, 23, who trained at Paisley’s West College Scotland’s campus, from Paisley, will be competing for a spot in the quarter finals and that he previously won the Young UK Seafood Chef of the Year 2018 and Gold Medal in Young Scottish Chef of the Year 2019; understands that he attributes his inspiration to start cooking from his mum and dad and that influences on his cooking style originate in his childhood memories from India and his mum and dad’s food; further understands that Sagar Massey currently works at the Marin Hotel in Troon and was previously a commis chef at the Martin Wishart restaurant in Loch Lomond, and also worked at the Isle of Eriska Hotel, near Oban, and wishes him the utmost luck competing for a space in the quarter-finals of MasterChef: The Professionals.
