Seawilding Receives Coasts and Waters Award at the Nature of Scotland Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Seawilding on winning the Coasts and Waters Award at RSPB Scotland and NatureScot’s Nature of Scotland Awards; notes that the Nature of Scotland Awards is an annual event where Scotland’s nature community comes together to recognise the outstanding achievements of those working hard to protect the precious natural heritage; understands that this award was received in recognition of the outstanding community-led conservation work Seawilding does in restoring native oysters and seagrass in Argyll; notes what it sees as the importance of restoring native habitats and preventing biodiversity loss in Scotland, and commends all involved with Seawilding, as well as all those who were nominated for and received awards, for their ongoing commitment to nature restoration.
