Scott Robb Named NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Apprentice of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Scott Robb, from Greenock, on being named NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s (NHSGGC) apprentice of the year for his "exceptional work" at Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH); understands that Scott, 21, who is a multi-skilled technician with the estates team at the IRH, received the Unison and Unite title at the NHS board’s annual apprentice graduation, which celebrates the next generation of talent working across NHSGGC; notes that Scott said his achievement is a reflection of the entire estates team at the IRH and the high standard of training he has received; appreciates that Scott is one of 77 apprentices currently working for the NHS board, with a further 15 set to join in the coming weeks; recognises that Scott joined the four-year apprenticeship programme straight from school and aims to move on to university when he graduates next year, and wishes him well as he continues on his career journey.
