Glynn Wright Leaves 22-year Legacy at Shetland Samaritans

The motion

That the Parliament commends Glynn Wright’s 22 years of volunteering service at Shetland Samaritans; understands that during his time with the charity, Glynn is thought to have taken nearly 6,000 calls; further understands that Glynn also served as a trustee of the local branch and helped to establish the current premises in Lerwick; notes that members of the charity recently gathered to show their appreciation of Glynn’s dedication over the years, presenting him with a money gift, which he donated back to the charity; thanks Glynn for his dedication to what it sees as a vital cause over the last 22 years, and wishes him well going forward.
