Tweeddale Youth Action
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Tweeddale Youth Action (TYA) on its busiest year yet; understands that TYA delivered a packed 2021-22 programme of engaging events for young people in Tweeddale including drop-in sessions, one-to-one and group support, and enterprise and skill-building events at both Peebles Youth Club and the recently acquired Innerleithen Youth Club; notes that TYA is the lead youth work organisation in the Tweeddale area working with young people aged 10 to 25; pays credit to the staff for the important advocacy and support work TYA does with young people facing difficulties; notes TYA’s plans for further development of its work at Innerleithen Youth Club, and wishes the TYA team continued success into the future.
