Wishaw YMCA awarded National Lottery Community Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Wishaw YMCA on receiving a £9,890 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the grant will help the YMCA with day to day running cost to allow it to continue to provide support to the local community; recognises what it sees as the role that the National Lottery plays in supporting good causes across the country; notes the important work Wishaw YMCA provides, supporting young people and families in Wishaw; understands that the premises acts as a central hub for managing the regeneration of the YMCA in Wishaw, including future refurbishment plans and an outreach programme of activities as well as critical community engagement, and wishes all those involved in the project all the best for the future.
