Aberdeen Professor Runs 100th Marathon in Aid of North East Foodbanks
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen academic, Arash Sahraie on the completion of his 100th marathon at the weekend; understands that the University of Aberdeen Professor took up long distance running during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that Arash ran his 100th marathon in aid of Community Food Initiatives North East (CFINE) and has so far raised more than £2,000 for foodbanks in the north-east, and thanks Arash for his dedication to help those most in need during the lead-up to Christmas.
