Dean Thistle FC Club of the Year Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dean Thistle Football Club Kilmarnock, on winning Club of the Year 2022 at the East Ayrshire Sports Council Awards; recognises what it sees as the club’s impact on the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping the public and the elderly with transport issues and delivering over 5,000 food parcels to the vulnerable; considers this to be an outstanding contribution to the community, and commends Chairman, James Nimbley and his team for their fantastic work.
