Flight MH17 Trial Verdict Delivered
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the Flight MH17 verdict, which saw three pro-Russian soldiers being convicted in absentia for the murder of the 298 passengers; believes this to be a heinous act of terrorism, and condemns both the act and Russia’s continuous denial of responsibility throughout the last eight years; applauds the Netherlands, the Joint Investigation Team and the Dutch Public Prosecution Service for their incessant pursuit of justice and the truth for grieving families of the victims, and expresses continued sympathy for the victims and their families whose lives have been permanently impacted by a senseless act of mass murder.
