Westquarter and Redding Community School Project Awarded The National Lottery Community Fund Grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Westquarter and Redding Community School Project on successfully securing £10,000 of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund; notes Forth Valley Sports Association for People with a Disability and Rainbow Muslim Women’s Group, which both also help constituents from across the Falkirk district, received grants of £9,996 and £9,600 respectively; understands that Westquarter and Redding Community School Project aims to use the grant for delivering out-of-school activities for families within the local communities; further understands that The National Lottery Community Fund redistributes over £30 million every week to good causes in the UK from money raised by players of The National Lottery; celebrates what it sees as the huge impact that funds raised by The National Lottery have on grassroot projects and small community projects; congratulates Westquarter and Redding Community School Project on its funding grant of £10,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund, and looks forward to seeing the improvements they make using this funding.
