Glenboig Development Trust Awarded Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glenboig Development Trust on its grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that Glenboig Development Trust intends to use its awarded funding of £9,944 to purchase exercise equipment for the Glenboig Life Centre; notes that this will meet a yet unaddressed need, creating the first gym in the village; further notes that Glenboig Development Trust has organised and delivered a great range of services in the village and surrounding area; thanks the group for bringing this vital facility to the locality; supports the aim of removing barriers to fitness; believes that healthy and active lifestyles should be easily accessible to all, and thanks Glenboig Development Trust and all their volunteers for their ongoing work to keep people across the surrounding area active and engaged in the community.
