St Aidan’s High Success at the UK Maths Challenge
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates pupils from St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw, on their success at the 2022 annual UK Maths Challenge; notes that Brodie Crooks, Hashim Idrees, Valentina Joseph and Millie Tonner achieved gold awards and that St Aidan’s High recorded its 26th attendance at the UK Maths Challenge; understands that over 82,000 students from across the UK took part, where the top 10% achieve gold, the next 20% a silver and the next 30% a bronze; notes that the UK Mathematics Trust was established in 1996, with an aim to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics, and wishes Brodie, Hashim, Valentina, Millie and all the pupils at St Aidan’s High School all the best with their future.
