Modern Apprentices from Falkirk Receive Awards from INEOS

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Amy Geurts, Adam Crowe, Craig Hollis and Elliot Millar, all former students of high schools across the Falkirk district, on the awards they received for their achievements on INEOS Modern Apprenticeship vocational programmes; understands that all apprentices were recognised by their respective INEOS businesses for their dedication, hard work and achievements throughout the programme; notes that Adam has received recognition for being the INEOS Chemicals Grangemouth Apprentice of the Year, which saw him presented with the George Hall Achievement Award; recognises that Amy has received the inaugural INEOS FPS Apprentice of the Year Award to acknowledge her commitment to the programme; notes that Craig was announced as the Petroineos Modern Apprentice of the Year for 2022 for embodying all key qualities that will stand him in good stead for the future; understands that Elliot is the first recipient of the new Rising Star Award; considers that alternative skills and training are crucially important, such as those offered by modern apprenticeships through a combination of skills-based learning at college and practical work-based placements; congratulates Amy, Adam, Craig and Elliot on their awards, which were earned through dedication, commitment and excellent performance in all areas of their vocational training programmes, and wishes them all the best for the future.
