Coltness High School Reach Final of Dragon’s Lair
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Michael Currie, Aimee Gourlay and Sophie McGregor of Coltness High School, Wishaw, for reaching the final of Dragon’s Lair; understands that Dragons Lair is an entrepreneurial initiative designed to introduce young people to the world of business and a possible career path that they may not have considered; further understands that it is open to all S3 pupils in North Lanarkshire secondary schools, with 15 schools taking part in 2022; notes that the pupils led on a business model named Wildflower Wicks, which is an eco-friendly, reusable candle of which the pot turns into a plant using seeds that are incorporated into the packaging, with importance placed on the values of sustainability; praises pupils on their entrepreneurship, and wishes them all the best for the future.
