Moray Council Allocates £20,000 to Local Foodbank
The motion
That the Parliament commends Moray Council for assigning, on a proposal from Councillor Sandy Keith, a grant allocation to Moray Food Bank; understands that the Cost of Living Working Group within Moray Council will donate £20,000 to a local foodbank, Moray Food Plus; further understands that Moray foodbank has seen a rise in demand of over 110% when compared to 2021, and hopes that this donation makes a positive impact to residents of Moray.
