Radio Clyde Mission Christmas Campaign Supports 19,385 Children with Gifts

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Radio Clyde, which is based in Clydebank, on its successful Mission Christmas Campaign; understands that 19,385 children will have a better Christmas thanks to the Clyde Cash for Kids grants, which support basic essentials such as food, fuel and gifts; notes that Cash for Kids grants go out to children living in poverty all year round, and that, in 2022, over £2.2 million in grants have been gifted, which, it understands, is a record-breaking figure for the charity, which operates across the West of Scotland; appreciates that the total number of children supported in 2022 is likely to be more than 71,000 children and young people, and wishes everyone at Radio Clyde Cash for Kids every success for the year ahead.
