Robert Smith Court, Lumphinnans, Christmas Light Switch-on Event
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the Christmas light switch-on event held on 2 December 2022 at Robert Smith Court, Lumphinnans, by the Robert Smith Court Community Group; understands that the event also featured the presentation of the Shona Hay Resident of the Year Award, which was awarded to Steven Algie; notes that the event was very well attended by local residents from the street and further afield; understands that the lights were switched on by five-year-old Rae; recognises that the event concluded with refreshments and music at the Lumphinnans Bowling Club; thanks the Robert Smith Court Community Group for all that it does for the local area, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
