Lennon Docherty 2022 Bemsee Kawasaki Team Green Cup Winner

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Lennon Docherty of Lochore, Fife, for his recent success at the 2022 "Bemsee" (British Motorcycle Racing Club) Kawasaki Team Green Cup; further recognises that Lennon picked up 15 race wins, and a further 11 podium places; notes that Lennon has also been recognised with the Sir Ben Ball Trophy, which is given to a young rider who is deemed to be a potential professional champion of the future; understands that Lennon has been involved in competitive racing from the age of seven; further understands that Lennon is now set to compete in the HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship in 2023, a series that is a support class of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship; wishes Lennon all the very best for the upcoming competition, and further wishes both him and his family all the very best for the future.
