Clydebank Co-op Kilbowie Road Keystore Awarded Community Store of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Clydebank Co-op Kilbowie Road Keystore on being awarded the Community Store of the Year by the Scottish Grocery Magazine, Scotland’s leading magazine for the convenience and retailing sector; understands that the process included judges coming out to visit the store to evaluate its support of local groups and activities, participation in community projects, and involvement in wider industry programmes, before being shortlisted for the annual awards ceremony where the winner was announced; notes that the Clydebank Co-op Kilbowie Road Keystore was recognised for going the extra mile within the community to support people in need, by organising events for residents and ensuring that no customer in the store goes hungry; applauds the store for this brilliant achievement, and encourages everyone involved to keep up the great work.
