Three Local Projects in Dumbarton Receive Asda Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates three local Dumbarton projects on securing funding through the Asda Green Token Giving scheme; notes that the Dumbarton United Under 13 Girls team won the customer vote and was awarded £500, and that the runners-up, Vale of Leven FC and Blue Triangle Lomondside Services, in Alexandria, received £300 and £200 respectively; thanks each of the groups for their ongoing work in the community of West Dunbartonshire, and Asda for supporting them in their work; understands that the Asda Foundation has invested more than £800,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland in the last year, which have made a real difference to their local areas, and encourages members of the community to nominate other good causes that might benefit from the support available.
