Milngavie Accountant, Elaine Boyd, Recognised on 2022’s Disability Power 100 List
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Milngavie accountant, Elaine Boyd, on her inclusion on 2022’s Disability Power 100 List; understands that the Power 100, led by the Shaw Trust, celebrates the UK’s most influential disabled people and organisations that demonstrate excellence in their field; notes that Elaine, as a director at Audit Scotland and Scotland Chair of the accountancy professional body, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, was nominated for her leadership in the business and finance category; recognises that Elaine has cerebral palsy and is a passionate advocate for breaking down barriers in the workplace for people with disabilities, having made a significant contribution as a trustee to charities such as Cerebral Palsy Scotland and Exceed Worldwide, and wishes Elaine the very best for her future career.
