Buchan Community Farm Awarded £39,638 Through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Buchan Community Farm on being awarded £39,638 through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund; understands that the farm aims to replace its diesel minibus with a new electric people carrier and charging point to better enable users to visit the farm, reduce its carbon footprint, help the social enterprise reduce running costs, and to reach people in rural isolation by removing transport barriers; acknowledges the therapeutic benefits that the farm offers; applauds the work it does, and wishes the project well.
