Strathcarron Singers' Fundraising Milestone of £155,000 for Strathcarron Hospice

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Strathcarron Singers on raising over £155,000 for Strathcarron Hospice near Falkirk; understands that the Stratchcarron Singers is comprised of 45 members from all over Central Scotland, including Falkirk East; acknowledges that the total of £155,000 raised has been a cumulative total reached since its fundraising began with just seven members in 2005; recognises the hard work and dedication shown by Strathcarron Hospice, which provides palliative care and support to those diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses and conditions; congratulates the Strathcarron Singers on raising £155,000 for Strathcarron Hospice since 2005, and wishes the group every success in its fundraising in the future.
