Recognising the Incredible Work of Enable Fortune Works

That the Parliament recognises the incredible work of Enable Fortune Works in Drumchapel, Glasgow; understands that Fortune Works provides meaningful opportunities for people with learning disabilities in the area by providing diverse training opportunities and supporting individuals to improve their employability, enterprise and education, and by combining accessible social and enterprising activities; acknowledges that Fortune Works offers individualised support for people to make a positive contribution to their community, such as through its contract work for local businesses, supporting the local economy; considers that Fortune Works is invaluable in empowering and enabling people with learning disabilities, giving service users a voice and helping them identify their own goals, whilst creating opportunities for them to participate meaningfully in the local community, and thanks all the dedicated staff at Enable Fortune Works for all the incredible work that they do every day.
