The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of St Aidan’s Primary School, Coltness, on their Hard to Recycle scheme; understands that pupils, staff and residents who live near to the school can drop off items, such as laundry products, drinks bottles and food storage containers, which are not included within the recycle kerbside waste collection; further understands that the pupils have signed up to several TerraCycle free recycling programmes, including Sistema Food Storage Containers, Reusable Bottle Free, Biscuit and Snack Wrappers, and Pringles Tube Free recycling programmes; notes that the items collected will be converted into monetary donations to help support the schools' charities, which include Mary’s Meals, SCIAF and Missio; commends the pupils on their initiative to help reduce waste, tackle climate change, and improve their local environment, whilst helping those less fortunate across the globe to access basic essentials.
