Brannock High School Achieves Level 1 Vision Schools Scotland Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Brannock High School, in Motherwell, on achieving a Level 1 Vision Schools Scotland award; understands that the school and its young people have worked hard to ensure that Holocaust education is embedded within the whole school community; appreciates that Brannock High School is only the second school to achieve this accreditation in North Lanarkshire; understands that this award recognises the school's good practice of a sustainable approach to teaching about the Holocaust across various subject areas, in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Scottish curriculum, and sends its best wishes to the school as it continues with its commitment to Holocaust education to ensure that the past is never forgotten.
