Kirkcaldy Charities Benefit from The National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates various Kirkcaldy-based charities that are set to benefit from funding received from The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that The National Lottery Community Fund supports communities to bring real improvements to the places in which they are based and to the wellbeing of those who are in need in these areas; notes that, through this grant, three Kirkcaldy charities have benefitted from over £100,000 of funding; understands that the additional needs charity, Nourish Support Centre, received an £80,290 grant, the addiction charity, Fife Alcohol Support Service, received a £10,000 grant, and the Scotland Yard Adventure Centre received a £10,000 grant to continue delivering play services for children with disabilities and their families; wishes all of the mentioned charities all the best for the future, and commends them for their service to the Kirkcaldy community.
