Browhouse Permanent Cosmetics Named Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ashleigh Crighton, who runs Browhouse Permanent Cosmetics, on being named Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year at the Scottish Aesthetics Awards 2023 in Glasgow; understands that Ashleigh studied under one of Scotland’s top cosmetic artists to learn her trade after quitting her job as a graphic designer to follow her dream of working in the beauty industry; notes that Ashleigh runs her business from Salon and Groom in Greenock, having launched in August 2019 shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic hit; considers this to be a tremendous achievement that is testament to Ashleigh’s hard work and commitment to delivering a high-quality service to customers; recognises that, despite the busy diary that comes with a booming business, Ashleigh sets aside time once a month to offer free sessions for people who have lost their eyebrows or hair; acknowledges that Ashleigh has used Browhouse Permanent Cosmetics to give back to the community, through her sponsorship of Greenock Wanderers Rugby Club; applauds Ashleigh for pursuing what is now an award-winning career, and wishes her all the best as Browhouse Permanent Cosmetics continues to grow.
